On Saturday, as I was writing this email—prepping it for today…

I received an email from a student that said:

“I was just wondering if Rocky was still sending emails because I have not seen an email from him in a while.”

Thanks for thinking about me!

This email made my day and made me excited to send this email (especially with the announcement I’m about to make).

But if you follow us on YouTube, then you know I haven’t gone anywhere.

I post free content there every week.

Creating my YouTube videos takes a good amount of planning, recording, and editing…

So it doesn’t leave me much time to do anything else.

But I know not everyone checks YouTube as much as they check their email.

And I probably don’t email as much as I should.

Part of that is because I don’t want to be a nuisance.

But maybe I’ve underestimated how much some of you like hearing from me 🙂

That got me thinking…

“Rocky, why don’t you just ask them how much they want to hear from you?”

So I put together a quick little survey that will help.

Basically, all I’m going to ask is how often you want to hear from me and what you want to hear about.

Long story short, I hate when companies spam me with emails that I’m not even interested in…

And I would never want to do the same to you.

This survey helps me prevent that from happening…

While helping ensure that I’m creating content you want/need.

Anyhoo…

The past few months have been busy for me.

In June, I was the best man at my friend’s wedding.

I got married in July.

All my family from Puerto Rico was in town, so things have been hectic around here.

But I did get to speak a lot of Spanish.

It’s crazy how I can even tell in my videos when I’ve been speaking more Spanish than usual.

My Spanish flows and sounds better. (This sort of thing would happen to anyone that implemented more Spanish in their life.)

But things have finally died down.

My family has gone back…

And kids are about to return to school.

This brings me to the good stuff:

To celebrate this “Back To School” period…

We will be having the second Cohort of our Become a Spanish Speaker Workshop.

The first one was fantastic, and we received terrific feedback from our students.

In total, 101 people signed up last time.

And 99 people completed the workshop… a 98% completion rate.

That blows the average 5-15% completion rate for online courses out of the water!

It’s a testament to how GREAT our students are 😉

Some students have said they would have paid as much as $600-$700 for the workshop.

Of course, I’m not going to charge anywhere near that much.

(We are still debating the price for this time around.)

But we are ready to fire it back up.

I hope to get more people in the door this time while keeping the same completion rate.

Here’s what you need to know:

Enrollment opens for this second installment this Thursday, August 5, at 9 a.m.

Enrollment closes on Sunday, August 8, at 11:59 p.m.

The first lesson begins Monday on August 9, so that’s why we won’t be accepting enrollment after Sunday.

We want everyone starting at the same time.
