Conoce a Ellen, una niña de seis años que se despertó esta mañana con una gran sonrisa en su rostro. La razón es simple, hoy visitará la granja de sus abuelos. Lo primero que preparó fue un bloc de notas y sus lápices de colores favoritos.
Meet Ellen, a six year old girl that woke up this morning with a big smile on her face. The reason is simple, today she is going to visit her grandparents’ farm. The first thing she packed was a pad of paper and her favorite colored pencils.
Ellen lo hizo porque le encanta dibujar los animales que ve durante el día. El viaje no es demasiado largo, sin embargo, pasó por un paisaje espectacular por el camino. Los padres de Ellen no pudieron resistirse a detenerse en un lago grande y hermoso antes de llegar a la granja.
Ellen did that because she loves to draw the animals she sees during the day. The trip is not too long, however, she passed by spectacular landscapes on the way. Ellen’s parents couldn’t resist stopping by a large and beautiful lake before arriving at the farm.
Esto se debe a que a Ellen le encanta ver a los peces saltar del agua. Tan pronto como llegaron, Ellen saludó a los abuelos y pidió visitar a los animales. Su abuelo estaba feliz de acompañarla porque todavía tenía que alimentarlos.
This is because Ellen loves to watch the fish jump out of the water. As soon as they arrived, Ellen said hello to her grandparents and asked to visit the animals. Her grandfather was happy to accompany her because he had to feed them anyway.
Los primeros animales que visitó fueron las gallinas. Luego visitó a los cerdos y luego a las vacas. Pero se sorprendió al ver una vaca muy pequeña por primera vez en su vida. Su abuelo le dijo que era un ternero y que solo tenía un mes.
The first animals she visited were the chickens. Then she visited the pigs and then the cows. But she was surprised to see a very small cow for the first time in her life. Her grandfather told her that it was a calf and that it was just one month old.
Asombrada por este nuevo descubrimiento, tomó los lápices y el bloc de notas y comenzó a dibujar al ternero. Tan pronto como terminó de dibujar, su madre la llamó para decirle que era la hora de la cena. Corrió a su casa nuevamente para comer y hablar con su familia sobre el nuevo animal que había descubierto.
Amazed by this new discovery, she took out her pencils and pad of paper and started to draw the calf. As soon as she finished drawing, her mom called to tell her it was time for dinner. She ran back to the house to eat and to tell her family about the new animal she discovered.
