In his book Atomic Habits, James Clear presents the idea that the most effective way to reach our goals is to not focus on what we want to achieve but on what we want to become.

For us, the goal is not to learn Spanish; the goal is to become a Spanish speaker. This is why we named this workshop the Become a Spanish Speaker Workshop.

This will be a 6-week hands-on workshop where we will walk you step by step through the process of getting you on the right path to experiencing this identity shift.

Our job will be to hold you accountable and prepare you with everything you need for success. 

Your job will be to show up and do the work. Together we can create something special and unique.

The concept of becoming fluent in Spanish is not just about studying it. It’s not about tricky to grasp conjugations or the memorization of complicated grammar rules.

That will be the main focus of this Become A Spanish Speaker Workshop. Each week we’ll be helping you develop each side of the coin by:

Q1: When does the workshop start?

The workshop is interactive. It has a specific start and finish date. Access to the videos isn’t the point—our workshop will succeed because you’re in it together, with me and the other students who are learning with you.

Dates for the Become A Spanish Speaker Workshop:

  • First lesson: January 11th, 2021
  • Last lesson: February 19th, 2021
  • Discussions close: March 1, 2021

When you enroll in the workshop you will have lifetime access to all the contents and updates but the Discussions will close two weeks after the workshop ends. This will give you a few weeks to ask our instructors any final questions.

Q2: How much content is there?

The Become a Spanish Speaker Workshop has three elements:

  • The Lessons. There will be a handful of video lessons every single week from Rocky. Each set of lessons will lead to a prompt, about your training and your journey.
  • The Discussions. The heart of this workshop and all our courses will be in the community. By sharing your own thoughts and giving others feedback on their journey, you'll learn far more than you would by just watching. The workshop works best on a laptop... you'll want to be prepared to type.
  • The Zoom Calls. At the end of each week, we will recap the week, Rocky will give his insights, and you'll be able to ask questions. This hands-on approach will be a game-changer. We recommend you attend every call, but if something comes up and you have to miss a call one week, don't worry; all calls will be recorded and uploaded into the Workshop training area so you can access them when you want.

Q3: How often is the content updated?

We post a bundle of new lessons every single week over the 6 weeks. But you can’t fall behind… as long as you show up regularly and type your experiences, you’re in it. The lessons and prompts wait for you until you’re ready for them.

Q4: What if I fall behind?

You can’t fall behind. As long as you show up, the work will get done. The workshop is more like a mastermind than a college course. 

The committment we’re asking for is that you do your best to do the lessons and post your experiences. This habit of posting your daily work, is a true game-changer. We’ve built a safe place for you to share and to give and get advice on the work.

The key is to find your pace and contribute the best way you can. Over the first few weeks, you’ll discover way more than you anticipated.

Q5: Is special software or technology required?

If you can read this page, you can access the workshop. It runs on Kajabi which is a membership software used by over 40 million people around the world. The workshop works best if you have a keyboard, so we recommend laptops instead of mobile devices. While it’s not required many of our students choose to join Zoom video calls as part of the workshop. Zoom is free to install and use in the workshop, and can be downloaded here.

Q6: Why does it cost more than other courses?

We’re charging more than other courses for a simple reason: We want committed students. You’ll be surrounded by other people willing to do the work and contribute along the way.
